Sam Morris is a seasoned beverage professional and Head of Research & Development at Sip and Guzzle in New York City, where he leads prep teams and develops innovative cocktail concepts for one of North America’s top-ranked bars. With over a decade of experience spanning Michelin-starred fine dining and celebrated craft bars, Sam has built a career at the forefront of cocktail innovation.
Before joining Sip & Guzzle, Morris was the Beverage Director for Bowery Group, overseeing the bar programs for five acclaimed restaurants, including Shukette, Rosie’s, and Vic’s. He also previously served as Bar Director at the Michelin-starred Rocca, where he developed a cutting-
edge menu rooted in modern techniques like centrifuge clarification and koji production. Known for his ingredient-driven approach and deep curiosity for fermentation and carbonation, Morris brings a scientific mindset to every bar program he leads.
