Established in 2021, Trini Bites is a Long Island based, Trinidadian-inspired catering service and pop-up market vendor, that brings vibrant, authentic Caribbean flavors to events and community spaces. The business was created after seeing the extremely limited options on Long Island for Trinidadian cuisine-the culture to which we were born into. Each dish is rooted in cultural heritage and culinary storytelling, as we re-imagine traditional Trinidadian staples with a modern, eclectic twist. We cater for corporate and private events including weddings, birthday celebrations, religious events, schools and universities in Long Island, the surrounding NYC area and beyond. We are also an approved NYC Department of Education vendor.

Owner and operator, Renee Davis, is a first generation Trinidadian-American, born and raised in Flatbush, Brooklyn, NY. A Registered Nurse by trade, wife and mom to 3 amazing teens, it has been a longstanding passion to enter the food industry. Over the past 4 years, she has hosted and participated in countless pop-ups in her community as well as large scale events, most notably being a vendor at Smorgasburg Prospect Park in 2024, under the moniker, Double(s) or Nothin’, where she was the first to bring Doubles, the iconic street food of Trinidad and Tobago, to the Smorgasburg grounds.
