Hospitality is my life; freshly smoked and grilled meats are my passion. By traveling the world I have refined an eclectic, innovative and passionate skillset to share with the next generation of chefs, blossoming hospitality enthusiasts, and guests in search of a signature experience. I have opened, operated, managed, consulted, and developed menus for Smokehouse and Steakhouse restaurant concepts in New York, London, Dubai, Las Vegas, Texas, Alabama, and Fort Lauderdale. In 2017 my expertise was featured on Michelin Star Chef Sergio Herman’s “Mijn Pop-Uprestaurant”, a food reality television series in Belgium on VTM Network. I instructed 6 final contestants in the art of butchering, seasoning, smoking and grilling a wide variety of traditional cuts of meat.
In 2019 I was nominated as a top 5 chef for the “Specialty Meat Award” at the 2019 Pro Chef Awards Middle East after hosting the “Barbecue Masters” exhibition at Gulfoods, and later creating a menu and operating a successful food outlet at the Taste of Dubai Food & Music Festival. In 2021 I competed in Toronto as a contestant on “FireMasters”, a food reality television series on Food Network Canada. With 18 years of professional culinary and restaurant management experience, I have strived to embody the words of Winston Churchill, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”
